In this piece, I wanted to show you a sky that’s full of energy and movement. I used lots of bright colours, like purple, pink, yellow, and blue, to make it look like swirling clouds or something in the sky. I mixed the colours together so they blended well, and I used different brushstrokes to make the sky look three-dimensional. I painted the sky in layers, some thin and some thick, to add texture and depth. I also painted a dark silhouette of the mountains at the bottom of the painting to make the sky pop. This helps the sky stand out and makes the whole scene more interesting.Original acrylic and mixed media on panel board.
